Pink and Gray

Jacket:  Butterick 6005
I found this fabric marked down to 95 cents per yard at Hancock a while ago, and I couldn't pass it up at such a low price.  It's a lightweight synthetic with a tiny bit of stretch and a soft hand.

I made it up into another long jacket/shell combo, this time with button loops and silver buttons, and I plan to wear it with an as-yet-to-be-made pair of pants out of gray RPL that I recently purchased at Joann.
I am really pleased with how well this turned out.  I like the colors and pattern of the fabric, and I don't have anything like it in my wardrobe.  The fabric is so soft, it feels like I'm wearing jammies.

Hope all is going well for you!

Shoe love: These Me Too flats might be too much with the outfit, but I think they're pretty cute. (I'll probably wear gray suede ballet flats instead.)
  Happy sewing! ~ Peggy

  1. Love the colors in this fabric and I would definitely wear it with those fabulous shoes....but grey suede sounds beautiful, too.

  2. I like the outfit and the flats, and would have no qualms about wearing them together. You made out like a bandit on the fabric!

  3. Here's another vote for wearing those shoes with the jacket/shell! Both look great.
